- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups sliced apples
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the flour, oats, cinnamon, and salt, mixing until combined.
- Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a greased baking dish.
- In another bowl, toss the apples with lemon juice, brown sugar, and cornstarch.
