  • 4 slices of beef rouladen
  • 4 slices of turkey bacon
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 pickle, thinly sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread mustard on each slice of beef, then layer with turkey bacon, onion, and pickles.
  3. Roll the beef tightly and secure with toothpicks.
  4. In the skillet, heat oil and brown the rouladen on all sides.
  5. Add beef broth to the skillet, cover, and simmer for about 1.5 hours.
  6. Remove rouladen, let rest, then slice and serve.
