  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  4. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • For an extra indulgent treat, sprinkle some additional chocolate chips on top before baking.
