  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, melted butter, and eggs.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in blueberries.
  5. Divide batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For an extra flavor boost, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the wet ingredients.
  • You can use frozen blueberries, just make sure to thaw and drain them before adding.
