- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together the potatoes, smoked sausage, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, combine the sour cream and cream of mushroom soup.
- Layer half of the potato mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Spread half of the sour cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle with half of the cheese.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
