Cheesy Potato & Smoked Sausage Casserole

A comforting and hearty casserole featuring cheesy potatoes and smoky sausage, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the potatoes, smoked sausage, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another bowl, combine the sour cream and cream of mushroom soup.
  4. Layer half of the potato mixture in a greased baking dish.
  5. Spread half of the sour cream mixture over the potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle with half of the cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
  8. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
