- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 pound beef steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup cream cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) or set the slow cooker to low.
- In a skillet, cook the sliced steak until browned, then add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until softened.
- In a large bowl, combine potatoes, cream cheese, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Layer half of the potato mixture in a greased baking dish or slow cooker.
- Add the sautéed meat and vegetable mixture on top, then layer the remaining potato mixture.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
- For oven, bake for 45 minutes. For slow cooker, cook for 6-8 hours on low.
