  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 pound beef steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) or set the slow cooker to low.
  2. In a skillet, cook the sliced steak until browned, then add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until softened.
  3. In a large bowl, combine potatoes, cream cheese, beef broth, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Layer half of the potato mixture in a greased baking dish or slow cooker.
  5. Add the sautéed meat and vegetable mixture on top, then layer the remaining potato mixture.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  7. For oven, bake for 45 minutes. For slow cooker, cook for 6-8 hours on low.
