Crispy and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

Crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, these chocolate chip cookies are the perfect treat for any cookie lover.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
  • Use parchment paper on baking sheets for easier cleanup.
