- 2 cups pumpkin puree
- 4 strips turkey bacon
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In the same pot, add the onion and garlic, cooking until translucent.
- Add the pumpkin puree, chicken broth, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Using an immersion blender, blend the soup until smooth.
- Stir in the heavy cream and crumbled turkey bacon. Heat through and serve.
Notes
