This Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes recipe is a simple yet delicious dish that combines seared steak with crispy potatoes in a flavorful garlic butter sauce.

  • 2 ribeye steaks
  • 1 pound baby potatoes
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the steaks with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat and add the steaks. Sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Remove the steaks and set aside.
  5. Add the baby potatoes to the same skillet and sauté for 5 minutes.
  6. Add minced garlic and the remaining butter, tossing to coat.
  7. Return the steaks to the skillet, spooning the garlic butter over them.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 10-15 minutes, until the steaks reach desired doneness.
  9. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
