Irresistible Street Style Thai Drunken Noodles Recipe

  • 8 ounces rice noodles
  • 4 strips turkey bacon
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

Instructions

  1. Cook rice noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, cook turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and chop.
  3. In the same pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  4. Add bell pepper and carrots to the pan, cooking until tender.
  5. Toss in the cooked noodles, turkey bacon, soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, and red pepper flakes; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in fresh basil before serving.

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Feel free to substitute vegetables based on your preference.
