  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup cucumber, diced

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Drain excess fat and add soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  4. Stir in green onions and sesame oil.
  5. Serve over cooked rice, topped with shredded carrots and diced cucumber.
