Lemon Cheesecake Crescent Rolls

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, for egg wash

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla. Mix until smooth.
  3. Open the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese mixture on the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll the crescent rolls starting from the wide end to the point, sealing the edges.
  6. Brush each roll with egg wash.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
