  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha
  • 1 pound cooked salmon, flaked
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
  • 2 sheets nori, cut into strips
  • 1/4 cup furikake seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rinse the sushi rice in cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice with water according to package instructions.
  3. In a bowl, mix together mayonnaise and sriracha.
  4. Once the rice is cooked, let it cool slightly, then mix in the mayonnaise-sriracha mixture, flaked salmon, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  5. Transfer the rice mixture to a baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Top with nori strips and sprinkle with furikake seasoning.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until heated through.
  8. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

  • This dish is best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container.
  • Adjust the spiciness by adding more or less sriracha.
