  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mix the mashed bananas with melted butter.
  3. Add baking soda and salt, and mix well.
  4. Add sugar, egg, and vanilla to the mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Add flour and fold in until just incorporated.
  6. Gently stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 60-65 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
