  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden.
  8. Let them cool before serving.

Notes

  • For chewier cookies, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
  • Substitute with dark chocolate chips for a richer flavor.
